About the style: Inspired by an original vintage blouse, Anna is all about the detail. Gentle puff sleeves, buttoned cuffs (Corozo, of course), tucks at the yoke and a little neck ribbon made in matching fabric. Made by Satnam and his team in our little London factory.
Please note, Anna does not have a top button - the necktie does the job for this.
About the Print: Cultivated gooseberries were unknown until late in the 16th century yet by the end of the nineteenth there were as many as 2,000 named varieties. This was due almost entirely to the ingenuity of amateur growers, especially in the industrial Midlands, who were spurred on in their breeding programmes by annual competitions (still held in a few villages).
About the Fabric: We continue to use the ethical superhero fabric, Tencel™, for many of our clothes. Tencel™ is made from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. It has the feel of vintage rayon - beautifully floaty and drapey, it washes really well and is biodegradable. It’s the most environmentally responsible fabric that we have come across and we love the look it gives to our dresses.
