About the style: Originally Inspired by 1950s dress styles, Ida has a flattering shape that does all the right things in all the right places. She is your classic fit and flare dress with an open collar, 3/4 length sleeves, shirt front and full skirt. For final touches we’ve used Corozo nut buttons, a fabric covered belt, and our usual deep Palava pockets. This dress was made by Satnam and his team in our little London factory.
About the Print: Featuring beetroot, apples, peas and leeks, all vegetables and fruit that you could grow in most back gardens.
About the Fabric: We continue to use the ethical superhero fabric, Tencel™, for many of our clothes. Tencel™ is made from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. It has the feel of vintage rayon - beautifully floaty and drapey, it washes really well and is biodegradable. It’s the most environmentally responsible fabric that we have come across and we love the look it gives to our dresses.
