There's something pretty magical about woodland walks in Autumn. The changing colours of tree leaves from lush greens to softer, warmer russets, reds and golds is perhaps the most visible change but there is also something else a little less tangible in the air.  Nature seems to slow down as the season reaches an end. The riot of growth that we see throughout spring and summer gives way to a gentler, more peaceful environment.

Walking through woods in Autumn is a perfect time to reflect and enjoy the simpler things in life. And if you spot a deer or two, or come back with a pocket full of conkers, then so much the better !
