Everything you need to know about Covid-19, how it will effect your order and more
These are very unsettling and worrying times for everyone, and we're all thinking how to adapt to the new circumstances. Our team is already making changes to how we work and trying to continue to do what we do in a difficult situation. Community is everything.
THE SHOP
Our London King’s Cross shop will unfortunately have to close its doors until further notice due to social distancing. We are all taking the recommended precautions and working from home wherever possible. All forthcoming workshops have been put on hold, and tickets will be fully refunded - we hope to reschedule for later in the year.
ONLINE ORDERS AND DELIVERIES
Our website and small Yorkshire warehouse is running as usual. All orders are being processed and shipped as normal, and there is currently no delay to you receiving your package. We'll be including a complimentary Storybook in all our orders to keep you all hopefully a bit cheered up! Royal mail services will go out as normal as will international mail. if this changes we will let you know here. Royal mail can no longer guarantee deliveries by 1pm the next working day so we will not offer this service at the moment.
If you would like to get in touch or have any questions, please drop us a message: We’re very happy to assist and talk to you.
RETURNS
We are so grateful for your order at a time like this, really you are doing more than you thin to support a small business just by placing your order. We understand you might not be able to make it to post office any time soon so we will extend our return policy from 14 days to 36 days. Please however respect this and bare in mind we expect all goods to be returned in their original condition, unwashed and in their original packaging.
BEHIND THE SCENES
All studio team members are now working remotely from home, we’re still working hard on keeping the creative and production process going: designing new garments, illustrating new prints and planning future collections that we look forward to sharing with you once we’re all back to resuming normal life again.
SUPPORT SMALL INDEPENDENT BUSINESS
Our small team is very close-knit and highly valued, and my top priority is to keep everyone well, and with meaningful employment. With the help of the Palava community, we really hope to be able to keep our team busy, and I can't tell you how grateful we are for the support we have from every one of you now and through the years. These are unprecedented and very difficult times for small independent businesses - we need your support more than ever!
STREAMING PALAVA CLUB - LET'S KEEP CRAFTY
We have been thinking of how enforced time at home can be used creatively, and we've been brainstorming about how we might be able to help with that. We are also currently looking into interactive streaming solutions for our craft workshops and Palava Club mending socials. We’ll keep you updated on this but for now take a look under our fabrics section on our website and anything you feel like sharing use hashtag Palavaclub on instagram, we would love to see and it wil help inspire others.
PALAVA COMMUNITY
During this time, it’s important to keep our community together. Support small businesses when you can. Let’s show some Palava spirit by keeping things colourful and bright, and offer support and kindness to one another.
Thank you for being part of this lovely Palava community!
Warmest wishes,
Bryony and the Palava Team x
PS: Love from Rodney Shop Dog who will be taking up shop in Bryony's home office now. He's sending you all some sweet doggie kisses to put a little smile on your faces...
