Hosted by our fabulous Freya Morton - we will be teaching you how to make your very own lampshade from Palava fabric remnants - showing that no piece of textile should go to waste!

UPHOLYSTERY FOR BEGINNERS WORKSHOP AT PALAVA

Hosted by our fabulous Freya Morton.These workshops will be deadicated to learning how to up-cycle an old stool or cover a seat pad.
You will strip back the old materials and re-upholster the seat or cover the stool with Palava fabric and sustainable padding materials.

Learn to quilt with our fabric off-cuts from our production process that would otherwise go to waste with Palava archive fabrics at the shop.

PRINT MARBLING ACTIVITY
Join us to experiment with print marbling with Bryony.
In this activity, Bryony will share her passion for printmaking while you can experiment and create pieces of marbled artwork.
We welcome all levels of experience. No ticket is required, ticket holders will be prioritised in case of high attendance.
MENDING & DARNING ACTIVITY
For our mending and darning activity, come and experiment with creative ways to mend your clothing.
You will be taught by our specialist and sustainable guru Nanna from the Palava repair service.

SPLENDID STITCHES: CLOTHES REPAIR DROP-IN AFTERNOON
Thursday March 14th
We all have clothes that need fixing, and to celebrate 1 year of Palava's Repair Workshop, the repair service for Palava clothes so they can be worn and enjoyed for even longer, Splendid Stitches and Palava are teaming up in connection with London Repair Week on an afternoon of drop-in clothes repairs! Learn how to mend your clothes, ask questions about repairs or repairs expertise or have your clothes fixed for a small fee (Palava repairs are free!).
