This Spring/Summer we present our Walter Jacket and Thelma Trousers.
We're really excited to reveal this new edition of our workwear because it's not only made in the UK, it's also woven in the UK. (high five!)
The fabric is crafted from 100% Organic Cotton Drill, and it is woven and finished entirely in Lancashire, a historic hub of Britain's cotton industry. We're proud to work with skilled artisans at County Brook Mill who have been masters of their craft since 1907.
We make everything with great care. It's designed to be lived in and loved for years to come. We chose cotton drill as it has a tight weave giving it strength and a distinctive diagonal look. It's reminiscent of denim, which is perfect for workwear.
This season, as usual, we use Corozo Nut buttons. But this year, we're also thrilled to introduce buttons that are made in the UK. Expert artisans at Courtney & Co. meticulously hand-turn them in their studio in the Cotswolds. Since they started, they have been working hard to keep the button-making industry alive in the UK. It’s so exciting to collaborate with another small business that shares our values and cherishes local craftsmanship.
