About the Style: Vera is Palava's classic cardigan. She is so popular that we make her every season. This edition has a full length sleeve and a box type length designed to give that vintage look. Vera goes very well with our dresses, and our high waisted Wilma and Josephine trousers.

We take great care with our embroidery to ensure it is top notch - detailed, high quality and full of Palava spirit.

      Made in Izmir, Turkey

      We have chosen to source and produce our fabrics and knitwear in Turkey, with the help of our trustworthy partner Guray. We’ve been working with him for over 10 years! He works very closely with our factories that weave all our cotton fabrics and print them with our hand-illustrated Palava patterns, as well as with the small family-run business that produces our organic cotton knitwear. We often make visits to see them. All the workers are paid the living wage and lunch is provided each day as well as a shuttle bus to and from work.

      The woven fabrics for our dresses are printed in Turkey, then shipped to the UK to be sewn into our beautiful and quirky garments. And we don’t just stop at the materials! All of the dyes we use are certified OEKO-TEX® dyes and 100% colourfast.
