Rita - Blackcurrant Tansy Dress

Easily recognised by its small circular clustering flowers or ‘buttons’ and its feathery leaves, tansy grows abundantly in abandoned green spaces in urban and disturbed environments. Tansy has been used for centuries as a flavouring for food and drink, having a somewhat spicy, bitter, warming flavour - perfect for warming you up this winter!

About the Style: Rita is a shining star of a dress. She’s the one you’ll want to dance the night away in… Her shape is exceptionally flattering and helps enhance a beautiful hourglass silhouette. Her tulip sleeves are non-restrictive and allow for full arm movement. Rita’s shape is inspired by original dresses of the 1940s and she’s definitely got that special touch of vintage elegance about her. We make Rita from Tencel which has the same floaty weight and feel to rayon (the material that this style of dress would have been originally made from).
