Exciting news from Palava HQ! Today marks the launch of our first jewellery collection. We've been thinking of introducing jewellery for some time - it wasn't until recently when Bryony stumbled across an adorable collection of unworn vintage brooches, necklaces and earrings that we have taken the leap! We chose items that we thought quirky, fun or classic - all go well with our dresses and cardigans. 
The story behind the jewellery is as exciting as the designs themselves. Rescued from a disused department store in Johannesburg, South Africa - which has been untouched since the 1960s, a selection of the stock now resides in an Alladin's cave of vintage treasures in London. We were lucky enough to get access to a recent shipment this deadstock vintage jewellery, which has been unworn since it was first made in the 1960s!
Even though unworn, some of the jewellery has minor imperfections - it’s all part of the vintage charm! I especially love the vibrant colours and fun materials used in their making.
Among the items are Scottie dogs, tropical islands, classic bows, English summer flowers, fruit and elephants! It's an eclectic mix of novelty and classic items that we think many of you will enjoy. Anyone for a strawberry pin with their lobster print?
