Description & Certifications: Our Organic Cotton Twill is perfect for those cooler months when we need a little extra warmth from our clothes. It has more substance and structure and is a little hardier for winter. All of Palava’s organic cotton is grown, spun and printed in Turkey.

About the print: This fabric has been held in our archive for many years, saved for the right moment. The print has a depth and richness that gives it a strong, hard-wearing feel.
Originally designed over 20 years ago by Penny, the animals are drawn in a simple, pared-back style, scattered across a deep navy ground. The figures feel instinctive and ancient, reminiscent of cave drawings, as though uncovered beneath peat moorland in a long-forgotten landscape.
An archival print brought back into use, chosen for its durability, character, and quiet strength.
About the Style: Cynthia is the shirt dress of our dreams; featuring a pretty mandarin collar that can be worn up or turned down, three-quarter length sleeves, a belted waist, deep pockets, and a full skirt.
Our Cynthia dress creates a classic silhouette that looks flattering on a variety of figures thanks to the nipped-in waist. All our dresses also use Corozo nut buttons - no plastics round here! Our Cynthia has a slider belt. These combine timeless simplicity with a perfectly polished fit.
