About the Style: Rita is a shining star of a dress. She’s the one you’ll want to dance the night away in… Her shape is exceptionally flattering and helps enhance a beautiful hourglass silhouette. Her tulip sleeves are non-restrictive and allow for full arm movement. Rita’s shape is inspired by original dresses of the 1940s and she’s definitely got that special touch of vintage elegance about her.
About the Print: The damson is a small dark skinned fruit, introduced to England by the Romans. Highly astringent when eaten from the tree, but delicious as jam. Harvest August / September.
About the Fabric: We continue to use the ethical superhero fabric, Tencel™, for many of our clothes. Tencel™ is made from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. It has the feel of vintage rayon - beautifully floaty and drapey, it washes really well and is biodegradable. It’s the most environmentally responsible fabric that we have come across and we love the look it gives to our dresses.
