Crystal Knitwear
Our favourite Molly Cardigans were the pioneers of the Heritage Collection. They are made by Crystal Knitwear, a British manufacturer specialising in bespoke knitwear. First established in 1990, they have many years of experience working with fibres such as British Wool. They also value working with natural fibres to enhance the durability and sustainability of the knitwear they produce.

Keeping our production process as close to home and as transparent as possible is very important to us. We make all our socks in France, just south of Paris. They are experts in their craft and have been knitting high-quality socks and tights since 1885! We've been working with this well-established factory for quite a few years now and are really proud of the quality we can produce with them.
Learn moreFreya
We have been working with Freya for some time now to develop a range of handcrafted upholstered pieces for Palava. Based in Stockport, Manchester - Freya has been trained to work with our special Palava fabrics, learning how each type needs to be placed with the utmost care. Not only does Freya make these footstools for us but she also makes our beautiful lampshades. We've all learned new things from this collaboration as all fabrics work differently and our prints always come with complications, like getting the direction right and the correct stretch to make sure you end up with a quality and long-lasting piece. Freya has also been doing a lot of research into making the stools as eco-friendly as possible, as at Palava, it is at the heart of all we do.

Close to home is the way we like it! We are proud to produce 100% of our dresses, trousers, tops, culottes and jumpsuits in the UK. We have worked with the same small family-run factory on the outskirts of London for over 8 years. We often visit the factory to ensure the factory workers are paid properly and it is a happy place to work. It’s all about trust and often problem solving. Working with the same factory from season to season gives us time to ensure the quality is as good as it can be.

This item of clothing was made in Lithuania by Aurelija and her team of talented garment workers.
Learn moreTurkey Factory
We have chosen to source and produce our fabrics and knitwear in Turkey, with the help of our trustworthy partner Guray. We’ve been working with him for over 10 years! He works very closely with our factories that weave all our cotton fabrics and print them with our hand-illustrated Palava patterns, as well as with the small family-run business that produces our organic cotton knitwear. We often make visits to see them. All the workers are paid the living wage and lunch is provided each day as well as a shuttle bus to and from work. The woven fabrics for our dresses are printed in Turkey, then shipped to the UK to be sewn into our beautiful and quirky garments. And we don’t just stop at the materials! All of the dyes we use are certified OEKO-TEX® dyes and 100% colourfast.
